UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) under the right to children to Free and compulsory Education Act (RTE), 2009. The minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII. He/She should pass the UPTET which will be conducted by the appropriate UP Government in accordance with the guidelines farmed by the NCTE.
