साढ़े आठ हजार शिक्षकों के हो सकेंगे तबादले- अपनी मर्जी के मुताबिक एक से दूसरे जिले में तबादले के लिए आवेदन करने वाले परिषदीय शिक्षकों में से 8639 अध्यापकों की मुराद इस साल पूरी होने की उम्मीद है। इनमें 77.5 प्रतिशत महिला और 22.5 फीसद पुरुष शिक्षक हैं। चूंकि तबादलों में शिक्षिकाओं को वरीयता दी जानी है, इसलिए स्थानांतरण के लिए आवेदन करने वाले पुरुष शिक्षकों को बड़ी संख्या में मायूस होना पड़ेगा। अंतर जिला तबादलों के लिए 58 हजार से अधिक शिक्षकों ने आवेदन किया था। जांच के बाद इनमें से 43,449 आवेदन नियमों की कसौटी पर सही पाये गए। इस साल तकरीबन 20 फीसदी यानी 8639 शिक्षकों के स्थानांतरण की मुराद पूरी होने की संभावना है। अंतर जिला तबादलों के लिए पांच श्रेणियां बनाई गई हैं जिनमें शिक्षिकाओं को वरीयता दी जाएगी। 

* पहली वरीयता (First Preference) - उन शिक्षिकाओं को दी जाएगी जिन्होंने विवाह के कारण तबादले के लिए आवेदन किया है। 

* दूसरी वरीयता (Second Preference) - उन शिक्षिकाओं को दी जाएगी जो गृह जिले से भिन्न जिले में स्थानांतरण चाहती हैं। 

* तीसरी वरीयता (Third Preference) - पर वे शिक्षिकाएं हैं जिन्होंने गृह जिले में स्थानांतरण के लिए आवेदन किया है। 

* चौथी वरीयता (Fourth Preference) - पर वे पुरुष शिक्षक होंगे जो गृह जिले से भिन्न जिले में स्थानांतरण चाहते हैं। 

* पांचवीं वरीयता (Fifth Preference) - पर वे पुरुष शिक्षक हैं जो गृह जिलों में तबादले के इच्छुक हैं। 
चार जिलों में तबादले नहीं - रिक्त पदों के अभाव में प्रदेश के चार जिलों में तबादले नहीं हो सकेंगे। यह जिले लखनऊ (Lucknow), कानपुर (Kanpur), गाजियाबाद (Ghaziabad) और गौतम बुद्धनगर (Gautam Buddha Nagar - NOIDA) हैं ।

बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग ने तबादलों के लिए जो गुणा-भाग किया है, उसके मुताबिक 2796 शिक्षकों के तबादले अति पिछड़े और 1995 अध्यापकों के पिछड़े जिलों में हो सकेंगे। वहीं सामान्य श्रेणी के जिलों में 3848 तबादले होने की संभावना है।

As per the new transfer policy of the state government released on Friday 22 June 2012, female primary teachers seeking transfer after marriage will now get preference, followed by women teachers asking for transfer to other than their home districts and those who want posting in their home districts. The transfer request of male primary teachers will be taken thereafter. According to state government officials, while teachers already on the job can apply for transfer under the new policy by December 31, the newly appointed teachers can write about their preferred destination in the option forms. The cases will be dealt on the basis of new priority list and seniority of teachers. Till date, the teachers were transferred from one district to another on the basis of seniority. However, in many cases transfers were not done because of shortage of teachers. As a result, women teachers wanting transfer to their home districts or to the district of their husbands used to suffer the most.
